[ Arc star Zarkava retired to stud ]　Zarkava, the unbeaten winner of the Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe, has been retired from racing. The brilliant three-year-old
filly bows out at the top after recording seven wins from seven starts. Her owner, the Aga Khan, said "no-one will regret" not seeing her run again
more than him. But he added they had decided to retire her to stud because "she will be an invaluable asset to this essential part of our activity".
Zarkava has been rated by Timeform as the joint best filly/mare of the last 20 years and joint seventh best of the last 40 years,
with a mark of 133. Despite her racing career being up in the air, bookmakers had installed Zarkava as their 2-1 favourite for next year's Arc.（BBC SPORT）

７戦７勝と言う「不敗」の記録を残してザルカヴァが引退ですか。３歳で早くも繁殖入り。日本の皮膚感覚だと「早過ぎる」になるんだが割とあっちでは常識的だな。
方法は色々あるんでどうのこうのと言うつもりも無いが。とりあえず「お疲れ」と言うだけの事で。いや〜早い引退ですな〜。故障とかではなく繁殖入りっつー事で。
